I am giving an updated review since we finally got to have a nice and relaxing dinner instead of a quick lunch on the go. This restaurant is gorgeous and exceeds our expectations. We made reservations a few weeks in advance, but there were 2 bar top seats available. We love the bar top, so we sat there for dinner. Sangria is not listed on the menu, but we asked if we are able to order it. Austin, the bartender, made us some of the best sangria we have ever had. We ordered a few glasses. For dinner, my husband and I shared carne asada nachos and the fried avocados. We already knew the avocados were good since we had them before. The nachos blew us away. They were so flavorful with the perfect mix of ingredients in every bite. The asada was tender, the beans were amazing, there was plenty of cheese, and the ranchera sauce really set this dish to the next level. Overall, we had the perfect dining experience.

Roasted poblano pepper with shrimp and trio of quesadillas were both exquisite. Pablo is terrific. The spicy blackberry margarita is my favorite

100% must try spot in downtown Palm Springs. I literally cannot wait to go back. Staff were a bit on the slow side, but not to worry, their tasty drinks and delicious food options make up for it. The diablo shrimp makes me want to visit Palm springs again. Also an absolute must try s is the Tequila margherita flight. The ambiance is unmatched. Love the indoor/outdoor vibes.

So glad we decided to grab lunch at Tac/Quila! Our server David was super attentive and kind, making our first visit great. The food was absolutely delicious and had fresh ingredients. Usually restaurants miss the mark with veggie options but they know what they're doing! Everything our table ordered was great. The restaurant itself was cool on this hot summer day and had great decor adding to the overall ambiance. This restaurant is perfect for any occasion and is a must while in Palm Springs!

Upscale Mexican spot where you can still dress casually. Came here twice - once with my family, and once with my boyfriend. Both times, made a reservation online in advance in order to avoid waiting for a table (as this restaurant is popular). My main complaint is that both times here, the beans have been watery. Otherwise, the food is decent. My shrimp tacos fell apart as the tortillas weren't strong enough but the shrimp fajitas were tasty. The calamari is a good choice for an appetizer if you're hungry, otherwise, I would go with the crab cakes. Credit cards accepted. Indoor and outdoor dining available. It's good for big groups. Public parking available in a garage a block or so away.

We are in town for a getaway weekend and just popped in for a light lunch. Service is good with seating indoors or outside on the patio. The overall vibe is really nice and relaxed. Carne Asada tacos were good and as others have said the salsa that comes with the tacos is great! The bottom of the taco shells falls apart from the juiciness of the fillings so that is something they need to address but overall it was great!

Such a fun little place right off the main road. The decoration was right on track with the theme & had a great authentic feel. The menu was HUGE with soo many options! We tried the mini tacos appetizer & chips/salsa. The mini tacos were pretty basic with not much flavor, but paired well with the egulat and avocado salsa. The server was amazing & knowledgeable. The bartender even helped us choose drinks! We each got different tacos & ALL were delicious! This was all around a fun place!
